Vancouver in the 1940’s

By

In the 1940’s my grandfather,  Tom (Trigger) Lee  came to Canada with the RAAF to train Canadian pilots as part of the Empire Air Training Scheme.   Read More about EATS here… These photos are from his trip to Vancouver, Vancouver Island and to Banff through the Rocky Mountains.  Apart form the occasional thumb in front of the lens, and photos from a speeding steam train,  he took a pretty good photo on a Box Brownie.

I am slowly going through the photos and restoring them to their former glory.  Big thanks to my brother Rob for scanning all the photos.
