We needed to get away for a weekend so we booked some accommodation last minute and headed up to Whistler on recommendation from our daughters kindergarten teacher and as I was packing the car our neighbour told me that it was the last weekend of skiing.  So, I packed the skis just in case.  It was a really nice weekend and we managed half a day skiing with the kids in perfect conditions.  (T-shirt weather)  There is always lots to do around the village and the mountains make such a brilliant backdrop.

It’s been 8 -9  years since we were last in Whistler and the changes they have made for the Olympics are astonishing.
