Okay….  Nearly all my photos so far have been on nice days which gives the impression that Vancouver has weather similar to Queensland.  This unfortunately,  is not always the case as it rains in Vancouver nearly 200 days a year.  Vancouver is  at the foothills of a temperate rain forest which dictates the weather patterns and some days the rain gets socked in it becomes a bit gloomy.

I have noticed that a bit of rain never stops a Vancouverite from going about their business.  Tamara had a cross country meet last week with about 400 kids from all the local schools and it absolutely bucketed down.  In Australia they would have cancelled the event…. not here.  It went ahead and the kids (and parents) all looked like drowned rats.
